ACB Court Orders CID to Issue Notice to Nara Lokesh for Alleged Threats to Police and Government Officials

The hearing of the Andhra Pradesh CID’s petition to arrest TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh has been postponed by the ACB special court until January 9. The CID filed the petition due to their belief that Lokesh has been openly threatening the police officers involved in investigating various scams involving him and his father, Nara Chandrababu Naidu. According to the CID, Lokesh stated that the names of these officers were included in the Red Book and they would face consequences once the TDP Government took power in the State. As a result, the court has ordered the CID to issue notices to Lokesh.

During his “Yuvaglam Padayatra” on December 20 in Polipalli village, Vizianagaram, Lokesh claimed that he keeps track of all Government officers, especially police officers who are acting on the command of the YCP and harassing TDP members with false cases. He stated that he has noted down all of their names.
