Google Bard’s website hints at the potential arrival of several new features for the chatbot. These features include bot creation, “Gallery,” “Tasks,” background/foreground sharing, and “Power-Up.” It remains uncertain if these features will undergo changes before being officially launched, or if they will be launched at all. Previously, it was speculated that Bard Advanced may be a paid service tier based on lines of code found on the Google Bard website. However, it has now been discovered that the website also contains information about potential new features for the chatbot.
Dylan Roussel shared details about these features on X (formerly Twitter). The first feature is a bot creator with the codename “Motoko,” although not much is known about it besides its name. It may be similar to OpenAI’s custom GPTs. Another new feature is a “Gallery” section, which allows users to explore different topics to see what can be done with Bard. There is also a “Tasks” feature, the purpose of which is currently unclear. Additionally, there is a new sharing option that allows users to create a public link to share Bard queries with others, with the ability to set the background and foreground. The last feature is “Power Up,” which may improve prompts by running them through an AI to expand them. This would be helpful for users who struggle to create effective prompts.
