PM Modi to kickstart election campaign from Bulandshahr in UP today

Today (January 25), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to kick off his campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a rally in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

The rally will mark the beginning of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 campaign, following the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Samaroh in Ayodhya on Monday.

Party workers and BJP leaders are actively preparing for the rally in Bulandshahr and are expecting a significant turnout in the western Uttar Pradesh city.

The BJP aims to reclaim the six constituencies it lost in western Uttar Pradesh in the 2019 elections. PM Modi is reportedly focused on turning the tide in these seats in the 2024 elections.

PM Modi will commence the election campaign from Bulandshahr, with the goal of reaching out to voters and supporters in previously contested areas and sharing the mantra for victory.

The BJP claims that around five lakh people will attend PM Modi’s rally in Bulandshahr. The rally is expected to rally support and will feature a shooting range field in Meerut Commissionerate.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav has announced an alliance with Rashtriya Lok Dal for the Lok Sabha polls and stated that there will be more meetings with Congress to decide on the seat-sharing formula in the state.

Akhilesh Yadav held a meeting in Lucknow with party leaders and emphasized that winnability is the criterion in decisions on seats. He also accused the BJP government in the state of getting the names of some party workers removed from the voter list.

Congress and the Samajwadi Party are in talks for seat-sharing for the Lok Sabha polls expected to be held in April-May this year.
