New Delhi: In an effort to energize the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) machinery ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Telangana on March 12. Sources have confirmed that Shah will hold a crucial meeting with the BJP booth committee president and party office bearers in Hyderabad to discuss strategies and provide guidance to party leaders and workers.
The meeting, scheduled at the LB Stadium, will be attended by the Union Home Minister as he engages in key discussions about the electoral roadmap for the parliamentary elections. Shah will focus on strategies aimed at mobilizing voters at every booth, emphasizing the significance of grassroots-level engagement.

Amid the political environment, Shah will also highlight the development and welfare initiatives led by the Narendra Modi government in the past decade. Stressing continuity, he is expected to appeal to the electorate to support another term for Prime Minister Modi.
The BJP, aiming for significant gains in Telangana, has intensified its groundwork in the state. A series of Victory Mission tours covering 17 parliamentary constituencies has already been conducted, showcasing the party’s dedicated efforts.

Furthermore, the BJP has swiftly finalized its roster for the electoral battle. Candidates for nine out of the 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana have been announced, demonstrating the party’s determination to secure more seats this time.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied BJP workers during his visit to the states, boosting the party’s momentum. Modi’s reaffirmation of commitment to the electoral contest has further motivated party members.

Earlier this month, the BJP revealed its initial list of 195 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls. Prime Minister Modi is set to contest from Varanasi once again, showcasing continuity and confidence within the party ranks.
Of the 195 candidates announced, 34 are incumbent ministers from the Center and States, highlighting the BJP’s focus on experienced leadership. Additionally, two former chief ministers are part of the BJP’s electoral lineup, indicating a mix of seasoned veterans and new faces in the electoral arena.
Following the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance’s impressive victory in 2019, securing 303 seats, the stage is set for another exciting electoral contest.
