Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. In a departure from traditional Bollywood weddings, the groom arrived with the baraat wearing athleisure wear, jogging his way to the venue and later dancing to music on the dhol.
The registration ceremony took place with Nupur wearing a vest and shorts, and Ira opted for a simple and elegant look, wearing Jodhpuri chappals instead of stilettos. Aamir shares a healthy relationship with both his ex-wives, Ira’s mother Reena Dutta and filmmaker Kiran Rao, and was filmed kissing Kiran on the cheek at the wedding, a moment widely shared on social media.

Along with Aamir, Reena, and Kiran, his sons Junaid and Azad were also present at the wedding, making for a happy family moment. The wedding was reported to be a sweet affair, and the couple chose not to accept any gifts from guests.

Some highlights of the night were Aamir Khan kissing Kiran Rao on the cheek and the family posing together.
If reports are to be believed, the couple might have a grand three-day celebration in Udaipur. Prior to the wedding, they had a traditional haldi ceremony where everyone was seen in Maharashtrian attire.
