The KGF series has set the bar high for filmmakers in Tollywood. Once again, this film is presented in a chapter format with a focus on various characters and suspense, following a farmer-turned-vigilante with the goal of eliminating gun culture. The involvement of the Prime Minister’s office and the Ministry of Defence in the story, revolving around a hero who lost his wife in a terrorist attack and hoards illegal arms, is quite unbelievable. Initially, the story highlights corporate and political figures attempting to take over hills from Tribals for mining, but later transitions to a plot about stopping guns from falling into the wrong hands. Ravi Teja tries to salvage the unrealistic story with his intense performance and action sequences, but fails to create an emotional connection with the audience. The film mainly relies on action-packed sequences with a variety of guns and explosive weaponry, lacking a solid emotional foundation.
The love story between Ravi Teja and Kavya Thapar is unique, with the hero impressing her with his sniper-shooting skills before they get married. Director Karthik Ghattamaneni focuses heavily on glorifying the hero, but overlooks the importance of a more relatable and convincing storyline. The idea of one individual or their team attempting to stop global arms trafficking is impractical and unrealistic.
The film begins with journalist Anupama Parameswaran discovering a unique kind of cotton from Andhra Pradesh and delving into the story of “Eagle,” a feared assassin. Ravi Teja plays this role and the film follows the intrigue surrounding his character and his actions. After failing to impress with previous films, Ravi Teja returns with another subpar movie in hopes of delivering a successful action film. Anupama Parameswaran shines in her role as an investigative journalist, while the villains fail to make a strong impact.
