AT&T is currently experiencing an outage, with users specifically reporting issues connecting to various Microsoft services. It is unclear at this time if the problem is stemming from AT&T, Microsoft, or another source. Users are unable to access Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft apps and services through their AT&T connections, affecting both mobile data and fiber connections. Complaints are being seen on social media platforms such as X and Reddit, as well as a significant increase in reports on DownDetector for both AT&T and Microsoft services.
AT&T users have contacted the company’s support team regarding the connectivity problems. On the Microsoft subreddit, users experiencing issues are primarily on AT&T connections, while those using other providers are not facing the same difficulties. This suggests that the outage may be related to AT&T routing to Microsoft services. Azure support is aware of the situation and conducting their own investigation.
Despite DownDetector indicating a widespread issue across Microsoft services in the US, they have not specifically mentioned AT&T in their post. We have reached out to AT&T for comment and will update as we receive more information. While reports of the problem have started to decrease, AT&T has not confirmed whether the issue has been resolved.
This is a developing situation, and we will provide further updates as they become available. To share any tips or information, contact our staff at news@androidauthority.com. You can choose to remain anonymous or receive credit for your contribution.
