Balashowry fiercely criticizes Andhra Pradesh CM after leaving YSRCP

Lok Sabha MP Balashowry Vallabhaneni, who recently switched his allegiance from the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) to the Jana Sena Party (JSP), has strongly criticized Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party. He accused the ruling party leaders of being involved in scams related to sand mining and other sectors.

During a press conference, Mr. Balashowry alleged that the State government awarded the entire sand mining contract to a single company in order to centralize the bribe amount from one source. He claimed that the State government implemented a flawed sand policy to illegally funnel money into the pockets of the ruling party leaders. He also stated that many mining areas in the State did not have proper approvals, yet a government-appointed private agency continued to exploit the sand.

Additionally, he claimed that the State government was spending excessive amounts on purchasing electrical Smart Meters from Shirdi Sai Electricals Pvt. Ltd (SSE). He alleged that the prices quoted by the company in Andhra Pradesh were much higher compared to prices quoted in other States. He also pointed out that there were other companies offering the same quality meters at lower prices to other States.

“Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy talks about a class war on one hand but is engaging in corruption on the other. The people of the State will give a strong response to the Chief Minister and the YSRCP in the upcoming elections,” he said.

Mr. Balashowry also condemned the reported attacks by YSRCP leaders on JSP members, describing them as unacceptable.
