Parakramam, a new film centered around gully cricket, is set to be released in Summer 2024, just in time for the upcoming cricket season. Directed by Bandi Saroj Kumar, known for the cult hit Mangalyam on digital platforms, the film is eagerly anticipated. Bandi Saroj Kumar, who has previously released three films using the ‘Watch & Pay’ method, is now making the leap to the big screen with the support of his fans.
Similar to his previous works, Bandi Saroj Kumar is once again taking on multiple roles including director, lyric writer, editor, music composer, and producer under his BSK Mainstream banner. Renowned cinematographer Venkat R Prasad, known for his work on films like Pournami and 100% Love, is handling the cinematography for Parakramam.
Sound designer Kali SR Ashok, who has built a strong reputation through his work on the director’s previous films, is also on board. The film stars Bandi Saroj Kumar and classical dancer Sruthi Samanvi, alongside Naga Lakshmi. Notably, the director is introducing around 50 new actors, many of whom come from a theatre arts background.
The film’s post-production is progressing rapidly, with the official teaser set to be released soon along with the announcement of the release date.
