Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan Kumar recently settled their differences after a public fallout in 2020. Kumar attended the singer’s 50th birthday party and Nigam visited the T-Series office for Ganpati darshan and took pictures with Bhushan Kumar. In a recent interview, Nigam spoke highly of Kumar and his perspective on music, describing him as his younger brother whom he can discuss work with for hours. However, they cannot talk about personal life as Kumar is too focused on his work.
During a chat on a podcast, Nigam revealed that Kumar is determined to recreate ‘Yeh Dil Deewana’ with him for ‘Deewana 2’. Nigam expressed his trust in Kumar and referred to him as his younger brother. He also acknowledged Kumar’s family as his mentors and praised Kumar’s talent for recognizing hit songs.
Nigam praised Kumar for his dedication and hard work, stating that he is a committed and passionate individual who solely focuses on work. Nigam also mentioned the rift between them in 2020 after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, where he criticized the ‘music mafia’ in Bollywood and called for compassion towards struggling artists. He later mentioned his past interactions with Kumar and warned him not to engage with him further.
