Singer Britney Spears alleges that her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake broke up with her through a text message.
The 41-year-old pop star dated the 42-year-old NSYNC boy bander from 1999 to 2002. Although there was a lot of speculation about the end of their relationship, the “Gimme More” singer reportedly reveals in her memoir “The Woman In Me” that Justin ended his three-year relationship through a text message.

Fans are finding it hard to believe that all of the drama between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake ended with a single text message. In an excerpt from “The Woman In Me” released on Thursday morning by the New York Times, Britney was so “devastated” by the end of the relationship that she considered quitting the music industry entirely.
“I was comatose in Louisiana and he was happily running around Hollywood,” she wrote in her memoir, calling out the media for portraying her as a “harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy” after he implied that his “Cry Me A River” music video was about their relationship.

Earlier on Thursday, sources told The Sun that the “Womanizer” singer admitted to cheating on “The Social Network” actor in her tell-all memoir. Sources say that the Princess of Pop explained how she made out with dancer Wade Robson after a night at a Spanish bar although she was dating Justin at the time. Sources say that she only did it because he had cheated on her first.
“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she reportedly wrote in her memoir, adding that she had been faithful to Justin “with that one exception.” She claims that she told the boy bander about the transgression at the time it occurred and they were able to move past it.
