A confrontation took place between BRS and Congress leaders in Peerjadiguda Municipal Corporation of Medchal district on Sunday. Local Congress leaders alleged that Minister Malla Reddy’s supporters had hidden money in a room in AV Info Pride Apartment within the corporation limits.
Tension rose when a significant number of Congress leaders arrived at the apartment, leading to a verbal and physical altercation between the two parties’ leaders and their supporters. Many Congress leaders and supporters, including former MLA M Sudhir Reddy, gathered to search for the alleged hidden money in the apartment where Mayor Jakka Venkat Reddy resides. The situation became more tense when Mayor Jakka Venkat Reddy and Sudhir Reddy got into heated arguments.
