Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed that he may have been an inspiration for the young mega heroes to pursue acting careers. “We all lived and worked closely together, and perhaps seeing me dedicate myself to my craft day in and day out for many years influenced them to follow in my footsteps. Watching me apply makeup and rush to film shoots may have motivated them to choose acting over other professions after completing their studies,” Chiranjeevi shared at an event. “However, Varun Tej chose to carve his own path by exploring different genres like ‘Mukunda’ and ‘Kancha,’ and now he is set to portray a fighter pilot, a first for a mega hero,” he added.
Chiranjeevi noted that the Telugu film industry has been supportive of hard-working and disciplined actors, and he welcomed members of his own family entering the industry. “Varun Tej has become a popular actor known for his romantic roles on screen, and he even managed to win over and marry Lavanya Tripathi,” he joked.
In the midst of all this, Chiranjeevi is preparing to start filming for the highly anticipated ‘Vishwambhara’ after taking a 10-day vacation in the US with his wife Surekha.
