Christina Aguilera
celebrated her birthday with her 9-year-old daughter, Summer Rain.
She was surprised with pink balloons and silver streams, and received hugs from her little girl.
Aguilera shared a video montage from the celebration, posing with her daughter next to “Happy BDay” balloon letters in a Las Vegas hotel room.
She was then led into a theater venue where she will soon perform for her Las Vegas residency show and was treated to cake and macaroons presented by a group of dancers.
“Thank you for all the birthday wishes,” the singer wrote. “Sending love from Vegas.”
Earlier in August, Aguilera celebrated Summer’s 9th birthday by sharing photos of them on stage together during a show.
“Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Summer Rain,” Aguilera captioned the post. “Today I find myself reflecting on how fast time has gone by. These 9 years have been filled with boundless love, heartwarming hugs, staying up too late, Disney adventures, and most recently, the joy of gracing the stage alongside you.”
The majority of the photos show Summer wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt featuring a photo of Aguilera on the front. The final photo shows her behind a drum kit in a white T-shirt.
“Every day, I thank the universe for gifting me the privilege of being your momma, a role that stands as my ultimate accomplishment,” Aguilera wrote. “Witnessing the remarkable young woman you are evolving into fills me with immense pride. Mommy loves you so much!”
Aguilera shares Summer with her fiancé, Matt Rutler. The couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2014 and welcomed Summer Rain Rutler later that year. Summer is Rutler’s first child, while Aguilera shares 15-year-old son Max Liron with her ex-husband, music producer Jordan Bratman.
