CM Siddaramaiah confirms bomb blast at Rameshwaram Cafe, resulting in injuries to at least 9 people

Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, CM Siddaramaiah stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the cause and nature of the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. He mentioned that it could have been caused by an improvised explosive device and warned that strict action will be taken against those responsible.

The Chief Minister revealed that after 12 PM, someone placed a bag at the site of the explosion, leading to the blast. He assured that all injured individuals are now safe and investigations are underway to uncover more details.

Siddaramaiah emphasized that it’s too early to determine if the incident was a terrorist act and mentioned that the police and Home Minister are involved in the investigation. He urged for cooperation and stressed the need for strict action against the perpetrators.

Home Minister G Parameshwara disclosed that the police and forensic team are actively investigating the blast, which led to injuries but no serious casualties. Samples have been collected to determine the cause of the explosion.

A video of the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe was captured by CCTV and shared on social media, showcasing the aftermath of the incident. The authorities are working tirelessly to gather more information and ensure the safety of the public.
