Court Documents Show Bill Clinton Tried to Block Articles About His Relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Magazine Claims

Newly unsealed court documents suggest that Bill Clinton “threatened” a prominent magazine, warning them not to publish articles about Jeffrey Epstein. The claim was made in an email written by Virginia Giuffre in 2011. In the message, she alleges that the former US president walked into the offices of Vanity Fair and said stories about Epstein, whom he referred to as a “good friend,” should not be written. A former Vanity Fair editor denied the incident ever took place. Clinton is among several high-profile individuals named in court filings related to Ghislaine Maxwell, her relationship with Epstein, and alleged victims of sexual abuse. The court documents also include allegations of Epstein saying that Clinton “likes them young,” referring to girls. There is no indication of any wrongdoing by Clinton, and his foundation has been contacted for a response. A spokesperson for the former president previously stated that he had not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade and knows nothing about the crimes. Meanwhile, Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of helping recruit and groom teenagers for Epstein to molest. Allegations of sexual assault against Prince Andrew have also resurfaced in the unsealed court documents, leading a pressure group to report him to the police. While many names are mentioned in the documents, there are no bombshell revelations or new third parties accused of sexual abuse. This gradual release of documents is expected to continue over the coming days and weeks. In 2022, Prince Andrew settled out of court with Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was sexually assaulted by the prince when she was 17 years old. This settlement, which reportedly involved a substantial amount of money, did not carry an admission of guilt. Many documents related to the case are being unsealed, with dozens already in the public domain and approximately 190 more expected to be released in the coming days. Among those named in the documents are the likes of Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, Stephen Hawking, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Cameron Diaz, although not all are accused of any wrongdoing.
