Following the incident of security breach in Parliament, opposition parties have demanded a statement from Amit Shah. CPI MP Binoy Viswam stated that the Union Home Minister owes an explanation to the Parliament and the people of India. He also criticized the BJP on the matter.
Viswam urged the Home Minister to come to Parliament and provide an explanation. He alleged that the delay in making a statement shows the involvement of the Home Minister, Prime Minister, and the BJP as a whole in the episode, as the individuals entered the building using a pass issued by a BJP MP.
