Delhi Police visits CM Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to deliver notice regarding bribery accusation, however…

CM Kejriwal claimed last week that seven AAP MLAs had been contacted by the ‘them’, referring to BJP.

A team from the Delhi Police crime branch has gone to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to serve him a notice regarding a probe into his claim that the BJP was attempting to buy some AAP MLAs, according to official sources. The Crime Branch officials arrived at Kejriwal’s residence on Friday to serve the notice, but Kejriwal was not there, so the notice could not be served to him, as reported by ANI quoting sources.

In a post on X, Kejriwal had claimed last week that seven of his party MLAs had been contacted by the “them”. After Kejriwal’s allegations, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva had responded, “This shows how politically desperate Kejriwal has become. This unfounded allegation by him is an attempt to keep himself politically alive. The allegation that the BJP wants to break away MLAs of the ruling AAP, having 62 out of 70 MLAs in Delhi, shows his mental bankruptcy.”
