Doctors say Hamas administered drugs to Israeli hostages to create a cheerful appearance for their “farewells” when they were released from Gaza

According to doctors, HAMAS drugged Israeli hostages to make them look cheerful for “farewell” footage when they were released from Gaza. The Health Ministry representative stated that the hostages were given tranquilliser pills before being handed over to the Red Cross for transfer to Israel. Hamas released 105 hostages from Gaza during a week-long truce. The hostages appeared smiling and waving at Hamas during their release. Dr. Hagar Mizrahi, head of the Health Ministry’s medical division, specifically named the drug Clonazepam, known as Clonex in Israel, as the drug used. The drug is used to treat anxiety, seizures, bipolar mania, psychosis, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Families of captives have raised the issue with the health committee, urging the ministry to share reports on the drugging and other medical findings with health organizations around the world. Hamas has released 105 women and children during the seven-day ceasefire deal, with about 160 still being held. Mia Schem, 21, was one of the last eight hostages released before the end of the ceasefire. Israel has freed 240 Palestinian prisoners during the truce, while carrying out attacks in Gaza.
