Fans gush as Rishabh Pant enjoys playing marbles with kids on the street and gets back in shape

Following his near-fatal car accident in December 2022, Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been on the road to recovery and is set to return soon to lead Delhi Capitals in the upcoming Indian Premier League. Prior to IPL 2024, Pant was spotted playing marbles with children on the street.

Sharing a video of his interaction with the kids on his Instagram story, Pant wrote, “After ages. Quite random in the neighborhood.” The video shows him dressed in a colorful t-shirt and white shorts, with his face covered by a mask and wearing a cap.

The video was shared by various cricket accounts on social media, sparking numerous reactions. One user expressed, “Rishabh is getting back to his 2018 form, wowww.” Another user reminisced, “Memories… love seeing this game after a long time.”

“If you don’t enjoy this when you’re back home playing with the kids in the neighborhood, then your childhood was boring,” commented a third user.

This recent instance of cricketers engaging in fun activities with children follows Sachin Tendulkar’s gully cricket session with locals during his Kashmir visit and David Beckham playing street cricket with kids in Gujarat.
