Fixing Picture Display Issues on Google Chrome

Edgar Cervantes from Android Authority provides a helpful guide on fixing images that are not showing up on Google Chrome. If you encounter this issue, it may not be the website’s fault, but rather the browser itself. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the problem:

1. Check if the “show images” setting is enabled by opening Settings, going to Privacy and security, and clicking on Site settings. Ensure that the option for the Site to show images is selected.

2. Clear the browser cache and data by clicking on the three dots icon, selecting Clear Browsing Data, and checking Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files before clicking Clear data. Restart the browser after clearing the cache and data.

3. Enable site javascript by going to Settings, Privacy and security, and Site settings. In the Content section, click on Javascript and set it to Sites can use Javascript.

4. Disable any browser extensions, especially ad blockers, that may be causing issues with loading images by going to the Extensions section under the three dots menu and selecting Manage Extensions.

5. If the problem persists, you can reset Chrome to its default settings by going to the Settings menu and selecting Reset settings. This will disable extensions, delete cookies and other site data, and restore all Chrome settings to their original defaults.

6. Make sure to update Google Chrome to the latest version by clicking on About Chrome in the Settings menu. If an update is available, it will download automatically, and you will need to relaunch the browser to apply the latest version.
