Jen Shah has her ideal biopic plan all figured out!
Some may be skeptical about whether the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star-turned-prison inmate will ever have a biopic. That’s a valid concern! Could she really be the central figure of a film on the big screen?! Well, according to Emma Stone, Jen’s life is absolutely ready for a film adaptation!
…What?!
Let’s go back a bit. At the premiere of her latest film Poor Things, Emma suggested that Yorgos Lanthimos, the Greek filmmaker who directed the movie, should make a biopic about the Real Housewives. When asked which Housewives star should be the focus, she jokingly responded, “Jen Shah! Duh. Can you imagine?”
We CAN imagine, and it would be wild!
And Jen can imagine it too! While Emma was joking, Jen is very serious about it. According to her manager Chris Giovanni, Shah already has Kim Kardashian in mind to play her! Shah’s manager confirmed that his client wants Kim to play her if a biopic ever happens. They have similar features, and Kim already knows about reality TV and opulent lifestyles. Also, Kim is currently focused on acting in scripted fare, so it’s not a bad idea at all!
However, Jen is currently in federal prison, so maybe Martin Scorsese would be a better choice for a biopic. For what it’s worth, Giovanni also mentioned that Jen has nearly 150 pages of notes meticulously documenting her prison experience. So, if this biopic ever did happen, Kim would have tons of material to create her on-screen character!
