In the latest update for Google Contacts version 4.39, a small change is being prepared to improve how contacts are displayed. By shifting names to the left, the app could free up space for longer entries. While app updates don’t always have to be groundbreaking, it’s important for developers to focus on maintaining and optimizing the user interface.
Google Contacts has received several updates this year, including both feature enhancements and smaller UI adjustments. The latest version 4.39 hints at a potential layout change that aims to optimize space by moving entries to the side of the screen. This new design allows for longer contact names and groups names alphabetically.
Although the new look is not yet visible in the app, it’s possible that Google will implement this change soon. Stay tuned to see if this interface update rolls out on your device.
