Update, April 30, 2024 (12:55 PM ET): 9to5Google has confirmed the six default Audio Emoji sounds (👏, 😂, 🎉, 😢, 🥁, and 💩) and showcased them in action with animations. Here’s a breakdown of each sound and animation:
👏 – Applause with various hands clapping, including alien hands
😂 – Laughter with swaying airmen animations
🎉 – Cheering with balloons and confetti animations
😢 – Sad trombone noise with an umbrella leaking rain animation
🥁 – “Buh-dum-tish” with a drumset animation
💩 – Fart sound with an inverted chocolate ice cream cone animation
This feature is in the latest beta and expected to roll out to all users of the standard dialer app in the coming weeks.
