Finance Minister T Harish Rao expressed his disapproval of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s comments about meters. He criticized these remarks as exposing the Congress and BJP parties. Harish Rao questioned how these leaders could expect to receive votes in the State after making such statements.
During a press conference in Siddipet, Harish Rao stated that the BJP leaders have been spreading falsehoods for years, but Nirmala Sitharaman’s clarification on installing meters for agricultural pump sets has revealed the truth. He further questioned how BJP leaders like Eatala Rajender, Raghunandan Rao, and Dharmapuri Arvind could now seek votes with their faces.

Harish Rao emphasized that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was the only leader in the country who firmly stated that he would not install motors on pump sets. He also pointed out that Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement not only exposed the BJP but also the Congress party. Harish Rao emphasized that since KCR is leading in the State, installing motors on pump sets was not possible, unlike in 12 other states.
