Nearly 18 months after filming concluded, the Love Is Blind season 5 cast members reunited to provide updates on their lives and address the drama. While one couple found lasting love, the rest were not so fortunate. Milton Johnson, Lydia Velez Gonzalez, Izzy Zapata, Stacy Snyder, Johnie Maraist, Chris Fox, Aaliyah Cosby, Taylor Rue, and JP Pierce sat down to reveal the current status of their relationships and their interactions with other cast members. Lydia and Milton, the only couple to get married from season 5, are still happily together. They recently had a second wedding celebration in Puerto Rico, Lydia’s hometown. While they didn’t mention plans for having children, Milton hinted at their financial stability, saying, “You should look at our 401(k).”
Izzy and Stacy, on the other hand, are no longer together. After Stacy expressed her doubts about marrying Izzy at their wedding, they decided to take some time apart. Despite trying to reconnect, they realized something was off and decided to remain friends. They are currently dating other people and wish each other the best.
Johnie and Chris also did not last as a couple. During the reunion, Chris admitted to cheating on Johnie shortly after her birthday weekend. He has found love with someone else and is now living with them, while Johnie has been dating someone for over a year. Despite the betrayal and heartbreak, they are on good terms and have forgiven each other.
Aaliyah and Uche dated briefly after filming, but their relationship ended for various reasons. Aaliyah felt that Uche didn’t find her attractive and had a condescending tone towards her. Uche chose not to participate in the reunion, but some cast members, including Lydia and Aaliyah, received texts from him. Aaliyah cleared the air with Lydia regarding rumors that Lydia and Uche planned to come on the show together, clarifying that they only had a brief conversation about it. Aaliyah has since found a loving relationship with someone she met on an R&B cruise.
JP and Taylor’s relationship did not survive after their time in the pods. They had the chance to talk for the first time since their breakup during the reunion. JP apologized to Taylor for belittling her about her makeup, and she forgave him. They have both moved on and started seeing other people.
