The alleged official HUAWEI Pura 70 render shows Google apps on the home screen, alongside the HUAWEI AppGallery, which could mislead consumers into thinking the phone supports Google apps out-of-the-box. However, due to the HUAWEI-US trade ban, HUAWEI cannot ship phones with Google apps. Consumers who still want to purchase HUAWEI phones have to rely on the AppGallery or unofficial methods to install the Google Play Store.
Journalist Roland Quandt pointed out the suspicious render, which appears to be from official HUAWEI marketing in the UAE. While the production quality of the render makes it seem trustworthy, it is unlikely that HUAWEI officially released it.
The presence of Google apps on the home screen implies that they are integrated into the stock experience of the HUAWEI Pura 70, which is not the case. Installing Google apps separately is necessary, but even then, it may not be straightforward. Unofficially installing Google Mobile Services on the Pura 70 is now reportedly more difficult, with some apps like Chrome being impossible to install.
