Many of you are experiencing network issues on your Pixel recently, and it’s frustrating.

Robert Triggs from Android Authority recently reported on the network connectivity issues plaguing recent Google Pixel smartphones, such as the Pixel 7 and 8 series, since the March 2024 update. The response from readers has been overwhelming, with many confirming the widespread nature of the problem.

A majority of respondents on the website, as well as polls on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter), have experienced issues with their devices. Reader HeyRadar even considered a warranty replacement due to the problem, while reader Hunter V reported facing connectivity issues with a Pixel 8 Pro on Rogers in Ottawa, Canada, showing that the problem extends beyond Verizon in the US.

The issue also affects some users of the Pixel 6 series and the Pixel Fold, indicating that it impacts practically all recent Pixel smartphones equipped with the Tensor SoC. Disappointed commenters have criticized Google for not addressing the issue effectively, as it has caused business loss and personal hardships for some individuals relying on reliable call and text functionalities.

Further discussions on Reddit revealed additional problems beyond calls and texts, despite the latest April 2024 update not resolving the issue. While some users have not experienced the network problem, it is essential for Google to investigate thoroughly and provide relief measures to affected users.

Suggestions from readers, such as disabling the Adaptive Connectivity setting in Settings > Network & Connections > Adaptive Connectivity, have helped some users alleviate the issue. However, others have not found this solution effective, emphasizing the need for further investigation from Google.

Android Authority has reached out to Google to address the concerns of readers and Pixel owners grappling with the connectivity issue for over a month. Updates will be provided once Google responds with a statement on the matter. If you have any tips or information to share, you can contact their staff at news@androidauthority.com.
