Actress Namrata Sheth, who portrays the lead role in Karmma Calling, has left fans impressed and charmed with the show’s initial glimpses. She recently revealed that she had to overcome stiff competition to land this role. Namrata will be showcasing a never-before-seen avatar in the upcoming show.
Speaking about securing the role, Namrata shares, “I went through several rounds of auditions because it was a role I really wanted to take on. I felt a strong connection to it, and when Ruchi met me, she immediately felt like I could be Karmma. She saw the character in me.”
In Karmma Calling, Namrata is seen going head-to-head with Raveena Tandon. Discussing this, Namrata shared, “There was a lot of preparation involved, and I was fully prepared to play this role, so by the time we got on set, it was just a lot of fun.”
Karmma Calling is set to release on 26th January on Disney Plus Hotstar, and we couldn’t be more excited!
