A total of 128 cadets hailing from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have commenced their journey to the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi. These cadets have been selected from a massive pool of 130,000 candidates after undergoing a rigorous selection process. They have undergone training and selection in three different camps prior to being chosen for the RD camp. During the camp, the cadets will take part in a variety of competitions such as march past, cultural shows, as well as aero and ship modeling. The cadets have received training from experts in their respective fields. The contingent from the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate, along with the instructional staff, have already departed for Delhi. The NCC Directorate AP & TS has a strong track record in previous camps and is expected to excel in this camp as well. The competitions will span over a month and the team is scheduled to return on January 30.
