PM Modi Criticizes INDIA Bloc, Alleges Alliance is Serving ‘Parivar’ Instead of People


Addressing a gathering in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the opposition coalition, INDIA bloc. He criticized the INDI alliance for working for their ‘parivar’ (family) instead of the welfare of the poor. He accused them of instigating and fighting in the name of caste, and opposing schemes for the benefit of Dalits and the deprived. PM Modi emphasized the importance of serving every section of society and their development, stating that equality comes by giving priority to the deprived society. He also highlighted the government’s commitment to serving every section of society.

Speaking at the 647th birth anniversary event of Sant Ravidas, PM Modi stated that the BJP government is for everyone, and the government’s schemes are for everyone. He emphasized the government’s efforts to connect with all 140 crore countrymen. PM Modi also praised the contributions of Sant Ravidas in bridging social divides and combating discrimination in society.

During the event, PM Modi offered a floral tribute to Sant Guru Ravidas and unveiled a statue of Sant Ravidas in Varanasi. He also inaugurated a new statue of Saint Ravidas and laid the foundation stone of Sant Ravidas Museum. The Prime Minister also offered prayers at Sant Ravidas Janamsthal and distributed prizes to winners of Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita at BHU in Varanasi.

PM Modi is also scheduled to visit Banas Kashi Sankul, a milk processing unit of Banaskantha District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd, and address a public function where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 13,000 crore in Varanasi. Additionally, he will inaugurate several projects related to tourism and spiritual tourism in Varanasi, including ten spiritual journeys along the Panchkoshi Parikrama Marg and the redevelopment of public facilities at five stops on the Pavan Path. The Prime Minister will launch 23 schemes worth Rs 10,972 crore and lay the foundation stone for 12 schemes worth Rs 2195.07 crore.
