Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress for being hesitant to promote young leaders, stating that they seemed to appoint individuals over the age of 75-80. He accused the ”dynastic parties” of targeting him for exposing their corrupt practices worth thousands of crores of rupees. Speaking at a BJP rally, Modi emphasized his opposition to dynasty politics, which he believes is detrimental to democracy and limits opportunities for the youth.
He expressed disappointment with the Congress, noting that they never promoted individuals under the age of 50. Modi questioned the longevity of family-run political parties, claiming that their rule has led to the overall deterioration of the states they govern, without benefiting the population at large.
Modi reiterated his stance against dynastic politics and highlighted the negative impact of family-run parties on democracy, talent, and youth. He criticized the reliance on family connections in politics and emphasized the need for promoting merit and fresh leadership.
Despite facing criticism, Modi remains committed to implementing the promises made to the public and continues to advocate for a more inclusive and democratic political landscape.
