Google is currently offering a 75% discount on the first three months of a Google One subscription to selected users. This discount is applicable to all subscription tiers, including Basic 200GB, Standard 200GB, and Premium 2TB. However, the offer is only valid for the first three months of a new subscription.
We discovered this discount offer while examining an APK for the Google Photos app. It appears that users are being offered a reduced price of £0.39 per month for three months, instead of the usual £1.59 per month for the Basic 100GB plan.
While we have observed this offer on a Galaxy S22 Ultra in the UK, it is not yet available on the Pixel 8. We are unsure of all the regions where this offer is available or the devices it can be activated on. Once the offer is applied to an account, it can also be accessed on the web at one.google.com.
Interestingly, we stumbled upon this offer while investigating strings related to “personalized pricing” on Google One in the European region through the Google Photos app. The Google Photos app now features an “Unlock storage discount” button that leads to the same discount screen. We cannot confirm if this offer is part of personalized pricing, but there is a possibility.
