Sai Dharam Tej is all set to return to the big screen with an action entertainer tentatively titled ‘SDT 17’. He will collaborate with filmmaker Sampath Nandi for his upcoming film. The first glimpse of ‘SDT 17’ will drop online soon and fans couldn’t be more excited. The makers of ‘SDT 17’ have dropped a new poster in which Sai Dharam can be seen sporting a tattoo.
Sharing the poster, the official X account of the production house Sithara Entertainment wrote, “A Thundering First High from our #SDT17 will be unveiled TOMORROW at 8:55 AM! A @IamSampathNandi MASSS MISSILE.”
The movie will reportedly star Pooja Hegde in the lead role.
On the work front, Sai Dharam Tej was last seen in ‘Bro’ along with Pawan Kalyan in the lead roles. Apart from Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, Ketika Sharma and Priya Prakash Varrier will also star in the film. Directed by Samuthirakani, Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej-starrer is the official remake of the Tamil film ‘Vinodaya Sitham’.
He was also seen in the supernatural horror film ‘Virupaksha’ along with Samyukhta Menon. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the movie is produced by BVSN Prasad under the Banners of Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sai Dharam confirmed that ‘Virupaksha’ will return for a sequel. He said, “Once you see the film ending, you see a small snippet where we are showing the revelation to the second part. So we are in the plans, but not right now. Slowly. Because the standard of writing is very high; Of Virupaksha. So Virupaksha 2 has to match up to the standard or go up and be better. There is an idea and we are just waiting for the right time and the right story”.
