Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy declared on Wednesday that the expectations of certain individuals for BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao to reclaim the position of chief minister in the next six months will not be realized. He stated this during his speech at Ravindra Bharati while commemorating the birth anniversary of balladeer Gaddar. Revanth Reddy also indicated that those with such aspirations will be disappointed.
Revanth Reddy stressed that the Congress government, which was elected through a democratic process, will deliver stable governance for five years. He reassured the people of Telangana that there will be political stability under his leadership. As part of the celebrations for Gaddar’s birthday, the state government will institute the Gaddar awards to recognize poets, artists, and film celebrities annually. Regarding the installation of a Gaddar statue on Tank Bund, Revanth Reddy mentioned that the decision will be made after discussions in the Cabinet.
