Soon, Twitter will empower users to pin hashtags for better post organization within Communities

TL;DR X, formerly known as Twitter, is developing a new feature that will enable group admins to pin hashtags within a Community. This feature will help organize the community by creating separate timelines for posts. Currently, hashtags within communities are automatically generated from popularly used hashtags. X is working towards becoming an “everything app” and has been introducing new features like audio and video calls. Some features, such as Enhanced Discovery for X Premium users, are still in progress. The platform is now focusing on a new feature to promote the adoption of its “Community” social groups. Strings in the latest version of X for Android suggest that admins will be able to pin hashtags to organize posts within Communities. Users will be able to click on these hashtags to view relevant tagged posts within the community. The upcoming changes will give admins more control over the hashtags and allow them to create different timelines without letting popular hashtags dominate the top bar. The release date for pinned hashtags within Communities has not been announced yet.
