The internal codename for Gemini is Robin, and the strings explicitly mention Spotify, indicating that the service will likely be integrated as a Gemini Extension.
With Gemini Extensions, Google is enabling its AI chatbot to access information from various Google apps and services to provide more personalized and efficient results. For example, the YouTube Music extension allows users to discover and play music directly through Gemini. We anticipate that the Spotify Extension for Gemini will offer a similar level of feature parity.
