Summaries of AI live chat conversations and Google Lens searches

YouTube is currently running a series of feature tests that are only accessible to small groups of people. The launch dates of these features to the public are uncertain, as they may not be released at all. YouTube is continuously improving to maintain its position as the second most visited website in the world, after Google.com. The platform is constantly evolving through YouTube feature experiments, allowing select groups of individuals to test out new features before they are released to the general public. Some of the latest features being tested are particularly intriguing.

One of the features being tested is AI-generated live chat summaries, which aim to provide users with a summary of live chat conversations in real-time. This feature is currently available to a small percentage of viewers and only works for live streams in English with active chat conversations. Google Lens search is also being tested on the platform, allowing users to search for related content on YouTube by taking a picture of a real-life item. This feature is rolling out to a small percentage of viewers using the YouTube app on an Android device.

YouTube is also testing channel QR codes to make it easier for viewers to access a specific YouTube channel. These QR codes can be scanned online or offline and are available to a small group of creators. Additionally, user-generated effects in YouTube Shorts are being tested, allowing creators to make and publish their own effects directly to YouTube Shorts. This feature is currently available to a small percentage of users, with plans to expand it later this year.

Please note that these features are experimental and may not be released to the general public. If you have any tips or information to share, you can email our staff at news@androidauthority.com. Your information can be kept anonymous or credited, depending on your preference.
