Suzanne Somers, Star of Three’s Company, Passes Away at Age 76

Suzanne Somers has passed away at 76 years old.

The beloved actress, known for her roles on TV classics like Three’s Company and Step By Step, sadly lost her life after a 50-year battle with cancer.

In a statement to Page Six, her publicist R. Couri Hay shared, “Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years.”

Her family finds solace knowing she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband Alan Hamel, her son Bruce, and her immediate family.

Although her passing was just one day before her 77th birthday on October 16, her family plans to celebrate her extraordinary life. A private family burial will take place this week, followed by a memorial next month.

According to a source close to Suzanne, she passed away in her new “all green home” in Palm Springs, peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband by her side.

In a touching gesture, Alan had given Suzanne a handwritten love poem wrapped in her favorite pink peonies as an early birthday present.

This heart-wrenching news comes three months after Suzanne revealed on Instagram that her cancer had come back. She had been living with various forms of cancer since her twenties.
