Union Minister Bhupendra forecasts BJP’s triumph in 400 Lok Sabha seats

Bengaluru: In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Union Minister for Forests Bhupendra Yadav expressed confidence on Saturday that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre would secure victory in as many as 400 Lok Sabha seats, and with the party’s success, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would once again become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

Criticizing the Congress party at the State BJP Executive Committee meeting in Bengaluru, Yadav stated that the Congress party has been decimated in other States of the country. He urged party members to work towards making Karnataka “Congress-free” and to inform voters that the Congress came to power in Karnataka through false guarantee schemes, while the voters of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan rejected the Congress party’s guarantee schemes.

Yadav emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, the country has undergone a positive political transformation over the last 10 years, with a focus on delivering social justice. Since coming to power at the Centre in 2014, Yadav said Modi has governed under the slogan “Sab Ka Saath SabKa Vikas,” while the Congress party, which ruled the country for decades, failed to implement the Constitution properly.

Yadav remarked that the BJP’s policies have been designed with the development of the common man in mind and that under Modi, BJP members have pledged to propel the nation forward. He highlighted the opening of Jan dhan bank accounts as an example of Modi’s efforts to ensure that benefits reach all the intended recipients, and how the Prime Minister has been working diligently for the welfare of the poor, aiming to make the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ a reality in the country.

Yadav accused the Congress party of dividing the country along religious lines and neglecting the nation’s development during its time in power at the Centre. He also alleged that the Congress party engaged in the polarization of minority community votes.

Referring to the consecration of the Rama idol at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on January 22, the Union Minister stated that it has brought about a new awakening in the nation and solidified the concept of ‘Ram Rajya.’

State BJP President B.Y. Vijayendra, Leader of Opposition R.Ashoka, former Chief Ministers B.S. Yediyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai, and Jagadeesh Shettar, among others, attended the meeting.
