YS Jagan expresses grief at the death of Vijayakanth, offers condolences to his family

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed shock over the death of popular film actor and DMDK chief Vijayakanth. The Chief Minister’s office issued a condolence statement on Thursday in this regard.

CM Jagan conveyed his deepest sympathy to Vijayakanth’s family members, fans, and party workers in the statement. Vijayakanth, known for his action hero roles, has made a lasting impact not only in the Tamil film industry but also in politics.

At the age of 71, Vijayakanth was hospitalized in Chennai for health issues. His fans were relieved when the doctors announced his recovery, but his condition deteriorated after contracting COVID-19. The hospital confirmed his passing earlier this morning.
