Curious about the whereabouts of Jonathan Taylor Thomas?
Known for his role as Randy on Home Improvement and various Disney teen classics, JTT was the heartthrob of ’90s kids. However, in the early 2000s, the star seemingly disappeared from the spotlight. Apart from a few appearances on Last Man Standing, Jonathan hasn’t been on screen for almost 20 years!
So where is he in 2023? Still in Southern California, but far from Hollywood.

Recently, the first photos of JTT in over two years surfaced, showing the former star looking grown up at 42 years old. See Jonathan looking relaxed and casual in a beanie, sweater, and jeans (below)!

It’s great to see a former child star looking happy! According to reports, someone recognized him at a convenience store, where he refilled his coffee mug and then returned to his car. Back to anonymity, we suppose!
In 2013, JTT explained to People why he took a step back from acting, stating:
“I’d been going nonstop since I was 8 years old. I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break.”
Using his TV earnings, he attended Harvard and Columbia, and pursued a normal life. At the time, he expressed “no regrets” about leaving fame behind:
“I never took the fame too seriously. It was a great period in my life, but it doesn’t define me. When I think back on the time, I look at it with a wink. I focus on the good moments I had, not that I was on a lot of magazine covers.”
Good for him! The celebrity lifestyle isn’t for everyone, and we’re glad he chose the path that was best for him. And we’ll always have the nostalgia of the ’90s to look back on.
