The BJP announced its candidates for 12 assembly seats in Mizoram where elections are scheduled for November 7.
The BJP unveiled the list of candidates for the Mizoram assembly polls. R Lalbiaktluangi will contend for the Lunglei West seat, Shanti Bikash Chakma for Thorang, Malsawmtluanga for Hachhek, and Vanlalhmuaka for the Dampa seat.
Additionally, Bhavna Bohra has been nominated as the BJP’s candidate for the Pandaria assembly seat in Chhattisgarh. Polling in Chhattisgarh will take place in two phases on November 7 and November 17.
The finalization of candidates for the Mizoram and Chhattisgarh assembly polls was approved by the BJP’s central election committee, consisting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and party chief J P Nadda.
