Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the book “Best of Asha”, a photobiography of veteran playback singer Asha Bhosale in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Initiated by Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar, ‘Best of Asha’ is a collection of photographs of Asha Bhosale taken by photographer Gautam Rajadhyaksha.
The book has been published by Valuable Group.
“The photographs in this book capture Ashatai’s singing style, songs, and life journey. It is a beautifully crafted collection of 42 of her best melodies along with the memories associated with them,” Shelar mentioned.
The book was released by Shah at Sahyadri Guest House in the presence of Asha Bhosale.
Attendees included Shelar, his wife Pratima Shelar, Asha Bhosale’s son Anand Bhosale, her granddaughter Janai Bhosale, Ameya Hete and Ankit Hete from Valuable Group, Prasad Mahadkar from Jeevan Gani, and Nutan Ajgaonkar who designed the book.
