India experiences widespread protests following the arrest of opposition leader

Police have detained protesters campaigning against the arrest of Delhi’s Chief Minister and opposition leader Arvind Kejriwal. India’s opposition parties have condemned the arrest and say that the ruling BJP is trying to suppress opposition parties, ahead of India’s national elections.
