Stevie Nicks’ success as a musician began with her relationship with Lindsey Buckingham. The two formed a duo called Buckingham Nicks in the 1970s before joining Fleetwood Mac. As a member of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks released eight albums between 1975 and 2003. She also had a successful solo career, releasing eight albums between 1981 and 2014. Nicks had a brief marriage and high-profile romances with fellow musicians.
Nicks was in a romantic relationship with bandmate Lindsey Buckingham from 1966-1977. The duo formed Buckingham Nicks and joined Fleetwood Mac, where they had their share of challenges while performing together. Nicks also had a brief romance with Mick Fleetwood in 1978, while he was still married to Jenny Boyd. Nicks and Eagles drummer Don Henley also embarked on a romance, and she admitted during an interview in 2014 that she became pregnant by Henley during that time. She terminated the pregnancy, and the two never married.
After the death of her best friend Robin Anderson, Nicks married Robin’s husband, Kim, to help raise their son together. The marriage only lasted three months, and Nicks realized it was a mistake for both of them. Nicks remains close to her stepson Matthew after reuniting with him during his teens, and she financially supported him through college.
