What’s the reason for Tori Spelling’s sudden departure from her new home?

Earlier this week, we reported on Tori Spelling’s luxurious new rental property. A significant upgrade from her previous stays in a motel and RV park, this spacious abode with multiple bathrooms seemed to indicate that she had finally found a stable living situation after her split from Dean and dealing with mold issues. However, it seems that things have changed as Tori has now packed up and moved out. Could this have something to do with the recent armed standoff that occurred nearby?

Back in 2023, Tori Spelling shared a sunny selfie while promoting her friend’s rose quartz jewelry. She looked stunning in the photo. Just until recently, Tori was residing in a rental home that cost $18,000 per month. Of course, she wasn’t alone; her five children were with her. According to The Daily Mail, movers were observed taking her belongings out of the Woodland Hills property and loading them onto a truck on Sunday, October 22.

It’s hard not to connect this move with the recent events involving the Los Angeles Police Department and SWAT, who had to evacuate Tori and her neighbors due to an armed neighbor who barricaded himself inside his house. Though there were reports of a hostage, this was unconfirmed and precautionary measures were taken. When faced with a situation where a neighbor is engaged in a standoff with the police, a mother of five might rethink whether a house with a pool is worth it. Tori herself was not present during the move, which is unusual for someone who isn’t a member of a wealthy TV family.

The movers were seen transporting boxes of clothing, makeup, toiletries, and other personal items to a storage facility in Calabasas, not far from her previous mold-infested rental. Moving is always stressful, but it’s less so when you’re rich, or in this case, when your mom is rich and willing to help you out. Fortunately, since the house was already fully furnished, there wasn’t as much to move out. Most of the belongings brought were things like clothes, game consoles, and personal items that the family needed.

We are unsure where Tori Spelling is moving next. It’s likely that she’s once again in a transitional phase, as otherwise they would have just moved her belongings from one home to the next. This previous rental was a significant step up from her previous living conditions, which included a $100-per-month motel and an RV park. Clearly, one RV was not enough space for Tori and her five children, especially when some of them are teenagers. Even a few weeks in an RV would quickly lose its appeal.

Despite the challenges she has faced this year, we continue to wish Tori and her children all the best. Hopefully, they will soon find a home that meets all their needs in terms of size, safety, and freedom from life-threatening mold.
