WhatsApp is getting closer to launching chat themes on iOS

WhatsApp is working on adding more customization features for its iOS app, including new chat themes. Users may soon be able to choose between blue, white, pink, and purple in addition to the default green color for chat bubbles and wallpaper. The app may also allow iPhone users to change the accent color.

Compared to Telegram, WhatsApp has been seen as a simpler and less customizable instant messaging app. However, Meta is now actively developing tools to make WhatsApp more customizable. The latest WhatsApp beta for iOS hints at an upcoming chat themes feature that would give users more control over the app’s appearance.

The chat themes feature may offer five preset colors, including green, white, blue, pink, and purple for chat bubbles and wallpaper. There is also a new option in development to change the app’s accent color from green to one of these shades.

These features are still in development, so it may be some time before they are officially released. It is uncertain whether Android users will receive the same features, as theme-related features have not been discovered for the Android client yet.
